The Australian Music Museum Project (AMMP) is about the preservation of our music.  Since Johnny O’Keefe,  the people’s music in Australia has been the soundtrack to around one-quarter of our history since settlement.  Australia has a Museum of Contemporary Art yet it has no Museum of Contemporary Music.  AC/DC played the tiny mining town of Queenstown, Tasmania in the 1970s – one of the very few bands to ever do so. No trace remains except a poster.

Our  past is slipping away from us.
